Cara grew up singing and playing in church. She has been serving in music ministries in churches in a variety of roles since her teens. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Wayland Baptist University in 2006 and is currently working on her Master's in Music and Worship at Liberty University. Cara began attending Northwest Hills in 2023 serving as pianist before moving into the Worship Minister role.
Cara's passion is using music to glorify God whether that be on the platform in the sanctuary or in her classroom mission field. She loves to sing and make music, especially for the Lord.
Cara is married to Scott and they have two dogs. Scott is active-duty military and volunteers on the tech team.
Cara works full-time as an elementary music teacher so hours at church vary with her teaching schedule. She can be contacted via email to schedule an appointment or discuss music ministry opportunities.
